The Epiphone Casino that John Lennon played featured a double-cutaway, thin-line, semi-hollow body made of laminated maple. It had a mahogany neck with a 24.75-inch scale length and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with parallelogram inlays. The guitar was equipped with two P-90 single-coil pickups, each with individual volume and tone controls.
